Peterborough Panthers 2020

My guess would be that they have the majority of the team sorted but are trying to persuade somebody (Iversen/Bjerre?) to spearhead the side. Hence being unable to announce others.

As for 90 minute meetings, count me in. That’s plenty and I wish Lynn meetings were that prompt.

You could well be correct Bagpuss.

For me if they are having to really convince someone to ride here it’s best we don’t get them, don’t think any fan wants a number 1 who is not overly committed or will leave mid season.

Maybe Buster, maybe Cook, maybe both. We will never know the truth...

Ged & Neil do. One day they may tell us.  Buster always puts me in mind of the smiling assassin

According to the regulations, a rider establishes an official MA after 4 home and 4 away meetings. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Vissing did more than that for Swindon

7 home and 3 away apparently:

That's lucky Rodders. You'd have missed that exciting news about there being some news this week :)

At least you wont get any confusion with Peterborough riders averages as play offs are just a thing of the past now.

Facebook page has Hans and Tungate picture with a caption this...

Put money on they are both in this pending announcement.

Then we will have a long wait for the remaining 2 riders IMO.

Could be a very long wait.

This is a bit offensive chap. Carl is generally a nice chap in my experience and is trying to do the best for the club.

As I've said before, I don't understand why the owner bought the club and is not appearing to give it any chance of success. These rumoured teams are at best only marginally better than last year.

We only had 1 comfortable win at home last year, most people who sit near me in the stands won't pay to watch the side loose week after week.... me included.

To ensure there was enough teams in the League to keep it going, what's hard to understand ?

What's not hard to understand is that it is team building decisons like last year at P'boro and what seems to be the case this year. that drives fans away from the turnstiles.  7 teams averaging less that 1,000 fans per match is not saying much for the health of the "top" UK league is it?

I'd think Ipswich get over 1000 each week.
