old bob at herne bay 828 Posted November 20, 2019 Not sure Mr. Cook got his promoters "licence" returned - dating back from the closure of Lakeside.
Hunters 210 Posted November 20, 2019 Make no mistake the real driving force is Ian Jordan. Read his latest statement on the eagles web site on how the side were put together and you realise how much he communicates and relates to the supporters. If all clubs operated like him the sport would not have the problems it does.

I guess he came from a real business background and knows how to manage and look after the customers. Breath of fresh air in speedway....let’s hope others take note and take appropriate action.

M.D 460 Posted November 20, 2019 I like the look of this team, its well put together with a solid look and bags of potential. Far more balanced than last year and could be a force away from Arlo but of course we are yet to see other teams.

What function does the Head of Speedway Operations perform , given that there are already two team managers ? With Kennet, Lawson , Kerr , Newman and Edwards in the line up the team has a very Lakeside feel to it, which is nice. If Newman can manage to complete a season without getting injured he could put a decent increase on his average and be a trump card. The trouble is the injuries he has had can slowly take their toll . I like Kyle and wish him well. He deserves a good season.

I believe he largely gobs off, slates the lower leagues and ultimately drags down the name of the club and the hard work put in by others. 1
gazzac 1,008 Posted November 21, 2019 It does seem if people talk about Eastie being a top heavy team , we're not talking about the riders. But suppose it worked pretty well in our first season in this league, and looks likely to be better still next season.

Something like that. When he joined the Eagles for the 2019 season it was the intention that he become co-director with Ian Jordan but the position was terminated by Companies House in May 2019. Isn't Jordan going to be working more with Plymouth as its closer to where he lives?
