King's Lynn Stars 2020

Recommended Posts

I keep seeing that Broc Nicol is linked to Sheefields team for next season. I thought he signed a 2 year deal with the Stars this season. Also I read Robin Brundle say that Nicol will definetly be in next years team.

Totally agree but I'd like to think they can pull their away form together .....

I’d like to think so too but the three riders who were most disappointing on the road last season are experienced and I’d say the chances of them suddenly clicking on other tracks is fairly slim.

We all get emotionally attached to riders especially those who have been around the club for several seasons but if you want to be successful sometimes it’s necessary to be ruthless.

I do wish that some fans wouldn't keep running on about keeping the same riders from year to year like the 'old days', if you're gonna do that you have to take the good with the bad, can't have it all ways!!  Not you Baggy of course ....

Could have been Should have been, Would have been. If only....Due for a league win in 2069 it seems, depending on which league is running and if the electric bikes can pull an eco crowd.

Buster has stepped down

Happy about that one. Maybe he can put a bit more time into his 2 clubs in 2020.

It doesn't stop him signing for the Stars also. But you would think if he does step up it would be with Sheffield

Thoughts?

1. Robert Lambert 7.81
2. Craig Cook 7.78
3. Erik Riss 6.61
4. Michael Palm Toft 6.30
5. Lewis Kerr 5.57
6. Ty Proctor 4.43
7. Broc Nicol 4.00

Team Total 42.50
Remaining 0.00

Kerr weak at 5. Reserve only for me, but average a bit high.

Playoffs for sure - Would take that team in a heart beat, although I’d love to see Neils back if he’s racing the UK
