If B'ham were to appear again next season....which I doubt very much at Championship level...I wouldnt want to see Riss or Grobauer, both a waste of space IMO!

Everything is specualtion and its a load of b#ll#cks discussing it until someone makes a firm commitment/statement!

Riss averaged just over 8 so wasn't that bad

It could have been more had he tried his best, instead of deliberately lowering his average IMO!

Don't think Riss did that from what i saw at Perry Barr, just think he had a poorer season in 2021 than 2019, which happens.  He was hardly setting the world alight for Kings Lynn.

I agree. I think he disliked the new tyres as well which had a massive impact mentality

Told me exactly the same. He's proven to be a very good rider and a smashing person but last year never really worked for him. Shame because he's a lot better than we saw and he was as frustrated as anyone.

Local press is covering Brum Councils' closure of the 'Wheels' facility for redevelopment. Another part of speedway track history like Hall Green, 'one stop' & Spoons being concreted over. :(

Still hopeful that Laurence can pull something off.

There are going to be plenty of riders looking for a ride if Kent  close too.

Young Gilkes and Starke live in Midlands.
