So Laurence Fielding in to assist Lawrence Rogers .

What do we think ? Personally i think he needs help tactically, so hopefully he has enough tactical know how to help him making in play switches if/when required.

I do not know too much about Fielding but wish him all the best .

Fielding has speedway written through his core. He has done and will continue to travel an unearthly amount of miles at his own expense just because he loves the sport. I don't know if he will command the respect of the pits but he is a nice guy and is more genuine than his namesake.

I like Lawrence and I'n sure Laurence will do a fine job standing in.

Sometimes a fresh and new perspective can have a beneficial impact.

It all points to a positive acquisition.....I can't see him having 'any' authority when LR is present ? we might need someone with a tad more experience for tactical decisions?

He sounds very knowledgeable re: engines/set-ups etc ?

I doubt it - he wasn't very good as a rider! But I may be wrong.

I guess you have to earn respect and that can be done in many ways ?

i don't think you have to have been a 'good' rider to earn respect ?

Integrity, commitment and passion would be top of my list!

Everyone loves a trier as they say ! :t:

Birmingham could do with a manger, because the one you got now is not that much use?

Would like Will Pottinger personally, lives local, no longer involved at Cradley Heath.
