Someone said to me down the pub the other week that there will be a new Co owner, not a complete takeover, and nothing to do with Buster.

That would be the ideal scenario. Keep the lifeblood of the club as co owner to do the day to day running of the place, while the other co owner with more financial muscle, helps to build potentially title winning sides..

imagine if Guy took the reigns at Foxhall tho and it was his "toy"

Not only would Witches become the most hated club in the country but you could expect a line up of something like

1.  Tai Woffinden/Jason Doyle/Chris Holder/Kenneth Bjerre

2. Jake Allen

3. Danny King

4. Cameron Heeps

5. Nicolai Klindt

6. Nico Covatti

7. Tom Bacon

Don't think Tai would ride after what happened in past with Guy Nicholls.

Doyle has already signed for 2020.

Holder.... topping up pension

Bjerre ... not a bad shout

A n other ... better no 1s out there to tempt

As the rest ... could be right....

Ultimately money talks, and I meant IF guy used it as a hobby I.e. lose a bit of money he could afford to bring in a Doyle or Woffy maybe, even tho doyle is signed I'm meaning the kind of calibre of rider as this is all make believe.

If he came in as co owner that would be great with chris still doing the operational side as guy is still building his empire.

Indeed, this is what I've been told but source will remain anonymous.

It is a situation many have expected/hoped may be the case for a few years now

Time will tell if this year is when it does. The club is in good hands either way

Was speaking to my polish friend Pawel who lives in Ipswich but has only ever been to Foxhall to support Krystian last season, he said if the Witches get a bigger named Pole then more from the local community would attend Foxhall, so how about this side.

1. Nicolai Klindt 7.43

2. Jake Allen 5.56

3. Danny King 6.83

4. Cameron Heeps 6.30

5. Piotr Pawlicki 7.32

6. Nico Covatti 5.27

7. Tom Bacon

You could have it just about right - just a place or two up in the air perhaps

places 5,6,7 would be up in the air - its going to be interesting to see how they build the rest of the side

not sure what Pawlicki is scoring in Poland but doesnt have a Swedish side yet...

if Witches do get a Pole they could do well to reach out into that community there are loads of poles in Ipswich and surrounding areas, but they generally support their own - if they pulled a Dudek, Janowski out of the bag then you'd probably see 500 - 1,000 poles alone rock up at Foxhall.

Is that Pavlicki the good one or the not so good one.

Certainly nowhere near Swindon or Sheffield team

Who do you think will slot into the remaining positions at both clubs? Swindon extremely top heavy no doubt they'll name Ellis next, tail will be loooooooooooooooooong

With a top heavy team like Swindon, they would only need a few points from their last, and would smash everyone at home, and win play offs by doing the same. They have riders that can all win races for fun. Having good reserves means jack poop when up against a team like Swindons,,, as they proved to us

on more than one occasion last season

Our team will do okay by reaching play offs again, but it won't win league .

Agreed

So you would like to see for example this side at Foxhall if you had a choice (or similar)

1. Kenneth Bjerre 7.75

2. Jake Allen 5.56

3. Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.54

4. Cameron Heeps 6.30

5. Nicolai Klindt 7.43

6. Jye Etheridge 4.20

7. Tom Bacon 3.5ish?

Correct, i put a team like it a while back. Only a team like that could beat Swindon possibly.
