riders have to be U24 as of 1st January and have less than 3 years "pro" league experience

which is why there are riders who are rated 1* who have no average in the PL or CL

apparantly the age limit of 24 allows for cross-overs from other disciplines

But Bacon is 28? I can understand 25 maybe.

Bates gets his testimonial next year.... so how he qualify? 

Would Carl Fogarty be a rising star then? Would be a great bit of media exposure to get him to sign up....

Looks like there are 6 criteria but you only have to fit 1 to qualify.....:blink::rolleyes:

Now that would make sense,,, but it's not the case, Bacon 28 and been racing 6 years

I have a feeling they asked each club who they would like to use, then made up some random rule to make that viable

Tom has ridden two seasons in the Championship, the NDL isn't classed as a 'professional league'.
