It’s a real shame as Blair was a cracking guy. His parents also some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Gutted RIP.

Strange, as British Superbikes have just announced they are admitting pre booked crowds into their events from July.

I'm not familiar with British Superbikes, do they run at Knockhill?

As I'm sure you know, Jason Leitch is the Scottish medical guru.

I'm assuming he's specifically talking about Scotland, obv I'll bow to your greater knowledge of British Superbikes at Knockhill.

I realise this is rugby centric but it'll apply to all pro spectator sports...

Surely this pretty much rules Edinburgh out running this year in any form of league competition, however reduced.....?

The measure here must be "space".

1000 / 67000 at Murrayfield is a lot different to 1000 / Armadale (capacity ???? 2000)

same with BSB 1000 in to Donnington Park / Silverstones huge spaces.

Big number of Turnstiles / Entrances at Murrayfield / Donnington + Silverstone.

Things are moving in right direction but was always the fear it would be soon enough / big enough numbers  for Speedway on a League basis at least.

Be amazed if we see any uk speedway this year , and the lockdown of Leicester can’t be a good thing either

On Scottish Politics today there was a hint that it could be October before Stadiums re-open to crowds. If that’s the case then there is not much chance for speedway this season IMO.

Plus Scotland are at least 4 weeks behind the rest of the UK in relaxing lockdown.

Taking that football down south estimate no fans until at least September , and even then that is on the basis that there are no spikes in the virus then October for any sport up here is unlkely.

Lets be realistic this season as we all thought is a write off. Making the early call to write the season off by Glasgow looks to be the correct one.

first Old Firm match of the season in October. Bet that's when fans will be allowed back into stadiums.

Tha fat Jap Lawwell is already making statements to this effect.

Trying to pressure nippy into action. Coffers must be taking a hit for him to start this campaign early.
