Tom Bacon is 28.

If you you the BSPA press release,it state that rising stars have to be 24 onJan 2021 ,there are other caveats regarding time in the sport ect.So guess James doesn’t fit in that respect.

The most interesting one on the 2 Star List by far is Jack Parkinson-Blackburn.

Sarj was also part of the previous 'Fast Track' system all those years ago.

To be fair to him, discounting 2020 he hasn't ridden a lot in the preceding few seasons due to injury, so maybe rightly or wrongly this was taken into account for Rising Star status.

Never trust a talent however good they are if they are stuck in the mindset of retirement/break/comeback from the sport as they'll always let you down

There are other caveats to that, see below for a better explanation.

“Rising star” might be stretching it a bit if rumours are true

What are the rumours?

To be fair ,he has to look at his style of riding, then he might realise why he spends so much time on the injury list.

Tough news for James Sarjeant, hope the lad gets fixed up with a team spot, easy to knock a guy when he is down and be his mate when all going well.
