Sam Norris - BBC News item

Recommended Posts

Not sure if posted elsewhere but I just spotted this article on the BBC News website,

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-suffolk-49975499

Got to admire the lad's spirit and determination, hopefully he fulfills his ambitions, although I bet his Mum's not looking forward to him riding again, she must have been through the mill with worry.

There was a piece on BBC Radio Suffolk this morning (and repeated throughout the day)

Was great to hear from Sam (and his mum) sounding well and on the road to full recovery. He was even talking about working towards a track return next year which would be remarkable!

I`ve followed Sam`s recovery from his accident, to posts on social media by his family, and now to see Sam looking so well is remarkable. To see him complete his recovery with a return to the track would be quite something.

I'm way behind in catching up with this. Expect he must be sixteen now, but a very articulate interview and almost seems a miraculous recovery, and he's back on a bike again. The interview really should be on a more accessible thread because sadly the "injured riders" thread is only a sub section and doesn't get as many views as it merits.

Well done Sam and keep up the hard work and your progress back to full health.

Good luck to him in the future. Great bravery and determination to want to come back.
