Jolly good, all positive, but .... err ...... not a single mention of a rider!

Or are they just going to sign the last seven standing?

Half way down:
"Obviously the next step is putting a team together, and I can assure the supporters that as soon as we get names on contracts, signed and sealed, we will deliver them as soon as possible, but rest assured we're on it right now and the wait won't be long, and it will be competitive!"

Absolutely amazing news. Thank you Rob and to everyone involved.

It sounds like he is in it for the long haul and bringing more entertainment for families and people in general.

Roll on the new season! Come on the Diamonds :t:

Like the sound of this; seems to have some ideas and plans in his thinking. Some good assistance in the background also. Hopefully he will assemble a competitive team, but everyone (Newcastle fans) need to give him their full support as only a couple of weeks ago it was desperately looking bleak. Well done Rob and all the best for this season and the future.

Got good people around him in George, Dave Tattum and Andrew Dalby. Definitely the best way to start. When Neil Machin is raving about Granty's ideas you've got to take notice. Sounds like exciting times ahead. Fingers crossed.

Sounds good and a young enthusiastic promoter whats not to like.

Exciting times for the Diamonds can only be good for the sport in general.

Hope you have an enjoyable season, looking forward to a trip down next year :t:.

Some truly great comments from such an experienced and well respected person as Neil Machin..

Hope what must be exciting plans see fruition..

The more wider thinkers the sport has around what constitutes 'entertainment' and a 'great night out' can only be good for it..
