I'm surprised nobody mentioned Auty before now...

Sidney has once or twice. :D

Was done a few pages ago. I like Auty but this is not the time to bring in someone who would struggle to beat the reserves away from home. Solid looking side that may surprise a few teams away

But is Kurtz more likely than Auty to beat reserves away from home though?

Looking at the averages, Sheffield could have fitted in Josh Auty at reserve instead of Todd Kurtz! As Auty is a track specialist at Owlerton, I'm surprised they haven't gone for him!

He isnt.. Kurtz is better at Owlerton look at the race results between the two in the last few years.. Kurtz wins more often than not

Totally agree Auty would out score Kurtz also he can battle from the back away from home Kurtz/ Morris look weak.At Swindon we look vulnerable down the bottom end of the team but i think Perks/Rowe/ Stewart can hold there own against the calibre of rider that  Kurtz/Morris are.

Not fascinated with Auty just feel Sheffield who have a nice looking side and that is great news for the league could of got stronger reserves ( ie Pickering as an example.

Jordan Stewart will never ride at reserve for you, he's a rider that's improving all the time and will more than likely beat most teams second string riders home and away.

As for Auty he's been at Sheffield,  good Championship rider, seems to have a bit of an attitude problem and for the first few meetings he was in this year he was struggling to finish a race never mind win it! Todd is more of a team man and he's with The Drillermans outfit so had to be here really. Just hope he gets some heat 2 wins at home. Morris.... well lets just hope he settles at Owlerton, only seen him have one reasonable meeting here and that's when we finished bottom two years ago!

Sheffield fans delighted with Kurtz. Away fans arguing about if we should have had Kurtz, Auty, Pickering, etc. Only in speedway...

In truth there is no argument. Todd is better at Sheffield than Auty, as proven by stats.

Only someone who has no knowledge of the CL would argue different.

Championship stats tell a different story Steve and dont forget Todd was released at Somerset.!!!All about opinion's and we shall see if the Sheffield reserves contribute anough home and away.

Josh at championship level would be my pick over Todd, I’d agree. However the stats at Sheffield show Todd is better this season.

Thankfully, for Sheffield, there are a few weaker number 7s next season but still expect him to struggle away.
