Source:  Google Maps. They tend to be pretty accurate.

Sort of

Dryml hit the airfence halfway down the straight and ripped it off so it came out onto the track.

Mark was a fairway behind (already nursing a knee injury) and managed to lay his bike down going down the straight and simply slid into the air fence panel that was now on the track.......although not hurting himself it did no favours to his already damaged leg

It was the Slovenian GP 2003 and is on you tube im sure

Not a airfence,as there wasn't one in place at the time.It was the WTC round and it rained and instead of stopping the meeting they carried on and Mark crashed due to poor vision.

I can remember a horse jumping event in the 60s

I think Sheffield have a pool of riders who are being linked here, that would make them a more than decent team.

No chance Chris Holder rides in the UK though, and if he did he would be BV bound imo.

Seen a lot of speculation about Nikki Pedersen but what average would he start at?

He last rode in this country in 2011.

His average then was 8.61 son I would imagine that is the average he would come in on.

You are probably right but using an average that is 9 years old is crazy IMO

Not if it seems about right. Which it does, looking at the comparables.

It may be about right but I would still say it should therefore be declared that he has been assessed that way as opposed to using the 2011 average

That way if another rider returns to the league after such a long break he can be reassessed fairly rather than a precedent having been set  of using such an old average

It's not just about NP but thinking a few steps ahead as to how someone else may use such a decision to manipulate a future change to gain unfair advantage

Esp when the league was a lot stronger then!! Sweden and Poland averages need to be looked at!
