keepturningleft 588 Posted October 29, 2019 George Michael was always losing his chocolate bars, often very careless with his Wispa.
Spl77 337 Posted October 29, 2019 If you went out and asked. 100 no speedway people who would be able to name the top 3 riders in the world? There are no big names in speedway only who speedway fans perceive to be big names.

Being fourth and half the track behind is very different to skilled riders. No sport has survived by dumbing down its product. look at other forms of motorsport, gates are on the rise by using social media and promoting its product. Allowing children in for free. bloom89 490 Posted October 29, 2019 Would it be too sensible to assume the money the top league are getting from Eurosport that they went out and say bought 3 track covers between the league something useful or getting some actual decent grading equipment instead of wasting it on riders like they did with the Sky money.

Hope they use any Eurosport money to improve the sport, rather than pay riders who in turn pay tuners,

That's what happened to a large extent with Sky money. Surely, they learned the lesson. 1

Baldyman 6,243 Posted October 29, 2019 Speedway could learn from chocolate, tasted for the first time how many go back for more chocolate,, chocolate has also moved with the times to keep relavent. Cider did the same, now gin is doing it, it's giving the customer what it wants, by investing in itself and moving on. Speedway needs to be more like chocolate and gin.

Speedway crowds and chocolate bars do have something in common, they both get smaller year on year ...
