Derwent Park was pretty good too, the best in the country according to Rene Bach.

Could have done with wider straights and entry to 3rd bend, but no better stadium to watch on top of track u could see everything.

Honestly

Just wait till you get to see this new Northside set up... you will be on top of the racing here alright... the viewing will be something else... can't wait for the weather to fair up a bit so the guys can get cracking again... been a bit hit and miss since the turn of the year due to the various storms and the rain...

Yea had a walk down on Saturday red shale down on 7/8 ths of the track, and from the viewing banks it feels like you are floating over the track, has great potential !!

Is it next year that the track opens up?

As previously said on these pages they are hoping to run some open meetings this year, been penciled in for a under 15 round, then hopefully a full league the following year. A lot will depend on weather/finance

Or Coventry or Kings Lynn ... Leave it alone for a couple of months and the grass will grow.

Well not at Northside it will be Siloth Sea Washed Grass all round and in the centre green... supplied and laid by Cumbria Turf... I even caught Captain Comet planting trees and saplings last week round the outside... hopefully it will all look very natural once it's done...

What will the car park arrangements be like? Will it be next to the track, or will it involve walk to the track.

Right next to the track and there should be enough room to fit 200/250 cars on it (as long as the track doesn't get any bigger) and there will be an overspill car park for around 500 vehicles within 500 metres then within another 1000 metres there will be another couple of hundred spaces so the last problem anyone should have is with parking.
