Ellis was probably the best Brit after Woffinden and Lambert at the end of last year, and he is riding in Poland, so not an overly surprising pick.

What level is he riding at in Poland? I saw that he scored a 15 point maximum recently but don't kmow what level of rider it was against.

Div 2( 3rd level) but he has just signed as a guest rider for a div 1 team(2nd level).

It's all good experience for him. From what I saw last year he is the most likely British rider around at the moment outside the big two to make it to international standard.

Doubtful that it will be on TV however the FIM will no doubt have a film crew there and put together some sort of coverage to be shown after the event. certainly last years meeting in Gorican was kindly filmed by someone on the 1st bend who showed it via Facebook( if i remember correctly). Hopefully he is going again this year ;)

Good luck to Ellis but I think he's reached his peak.

Hope Laguta, Zager and Michelson finish as the top 3, can't see any of the others standing a chance in next years GP series

Pepe is having something of a renaissance this season. Be interesting to see how he fares if someone does pull out.

Why do they never sell the rights to this meeting?

Previously it has been the case that they were sold as a part of something else and the company in question had no interest in it.

Although, if the end of last season was his peak and he rides like that in this meeting he may well qualify.
