Championship League Team Points Limit

Recommended Posts

If Poole, Plymouth and Kent replace Sheffield there will be thirteen teams in the Championship next season.

But with the 1.6 conversion rate it will be more difficult for current non-Championship riders to come down from the PL.

So will there be enough riders or will the limit have to be set at 38 so the shortfall comes from NL 2 pointers?

Another person at Redcar last night mentioned 38 too

See what gets allowed come next season, but the Championship is the league to be in as Poole coming to it will be good and more teams to take on.

Points limit is easy to set -- what was Leicester's average at the end of this season?

That's the points limit for next year.

If they wish, the Lions can keep the team that won the league.

The rest of us know what we need to aspire to.

There are thirteen 3 to 6 point riders from the CL this year who finished the season without a club, due to injury or being dropped.

There are none above 6 points.

How will the two extra clubs get heat leaders if the points limit stays above 40?

Could you name six possible ones who’d make decent heatleaders/number ones?

38 has made the product inferior. We need to go 40 points at least,  preferably 42.

Inferior to what ? The PL it’s supposed to be!

Noted.

NBJ was the only one of heatleaders status at 7.45. None of the others was above 6.49 (Starke).

I didn’t count Barker because he signed for another club.

Kai Huckenbeck, Kevin Wolbert, Pontus Aspgren, Kim Nilsson, Rene Bach, Andreas Lyager, Jonas Jepessen,.

Plus with the Poole & Sheffield switch, the likes of Danny King & Kyle Howarth will probably be wishing to double down in the CL
