You gotta beat Newcastle, that would give you a real boost.

It’s a tight call at the bottom;)

Championship league table should make worrying reading for Berwick, they have ridden more meetings than the four clubs below them and have only a two point advantage over bottom club Kent. League table below.

    M W D L 4W 3W D 1L L F A Pts
1 Poole 13 5 0 0 2 1 1 3 1 640 529 31
2 Glasgow 14 5 0 1 1 3 0 3 1 651 579 31

Birmingham with 9 meetings is ridiculous, it’s the 21st of August, the cut off date is mid Sept I’m sure?

Kent's 2 away draws should keep them clear of the wooden spoon!

The top 6 are so far clear any lack of matches raced will not change the top 6, maybe make a difference to the top 2!

The biggest issue will probably be so many matches being raced after the cut off date for the play-offs, or even after the play-offs themselves, which could be hard to convince fans to turn up to watch!

But if Eastbourne close, Leicester are the big losers 7points, brings them closer.

Just chatting to a friend who has been a fan for over 2 decades that sticks to  GPs these days about Jason Crump now at 5 due to his average reducing.

He couldn't understand the whole 5% for guests (I still don't if I'm honest) and then I showed him the table and it blew his mind!

If someone who has a knowledge of the sport cannot understand it how on earth are we supposed to attract new fans?

Simplest sport on the planet in its purest form made baffling

If Eastbourne get themselves sorted, they could easily catch Scunthorpe imo, win their 3 home meetings in hand, and a win and a point away from home in their 3 away meetings and they’re back with them, I know it’s not as simple as that, same with Birmingham, but less likely

Don't think there is any chance of that.

This might seem a daft question, but how can Kent run a Championship meeting on Bank Holiday Monday, when Monday's are meant to be "protected" for Premiership meetings?

Anyone can run on any night, but Premiership teams have first dibs on a doubling up/down rider on Mondays and Thursdays.

Do Kent have a chance of being 6th in the table and get into the play offs? Not sure how many meetings are left although it looks like 5 for Kent.
