According to the clown, you still have hans Andersen to sign yet,,,,,, that's what he told all the panthers fans. Actually, it says hans Andersen has signed for Swindon

Sure.......

Schlein......... Rolling average 6.65 ............2019 7.04

Iversen ....... Rolling Average 7.54 ............ 2019 6.97

Lawson ..... Rolling average 5.78 ............. 2019 6.01

Cook ......... Rolling average 7.82 .............. 2019 7.70

Nicholls .... Rolling average 5.50 .............. 2019 5.33

As you can see some are better some are worse. A quick comparison of club websites averages and the official rolling averages will see besides a few exemptions that most riders averages from most clubs are all slightly different.

Grading would bring a better reflection of ability than rolling averages currently do imho.

So the biggest discrepancy is Iversen and your logic would say he should now be 6.97 (from a few rushed end of season fixtures) rather than the 7.54 rolling average over his last twenty matches?

He’s a GP rider and anyone signing him next year on 7.54 should have a bargain! 6.97 would be plain daft.

I think that proves that rolling averages are pretty good.

Grading is just averages made inaccurate and subjective.

1. Jason Doyle          8.96    AUS
2.                                 4.00    AUS
3. Rasmus Jensen   7.86    DEN
4. Adam Ellis             6.33    GBR
5. Troy Batchelor      8.82    AUS
6. James Shanes      3.00   GBR
7. Ellis Perks              3.48   GBR

Fill in the number 2 spot with Josh Pickering or Jordan Stewart and it's a pretty good team

I wonder if Keynan Rew would do a job... Or maybe one of the young Aussies that rode for Sheffield last year? Lots of options and that tail isn't too bad... Especially of Jordan Stewart is the option... Great rider and I think many would be surprised how entertaining and solid he really is... As has been mentioned... Hopefully Rasmus' year last year wasn't just a one off purple patch... Or the promotion are screwed xD

Can Anders Rowe come in on a 2.00? If so, swap him for Shanes and put Claus Vissing or Kristian Pieszczek at number 2? Might be a bit early of Anders, but it would be a nice challenge for him...

Basis of a decent side .......simply no Musielek and Vissing replaced by say Stewart and Shanes , shows how much weaker this Swindon team will be next season but nothing can be done about that, its what success brings

Did the rule of keeping the same side stand? I assume not... Because Swindon could be just slowly revealing last years 1-7 again :D

Think regardless they will do good next year, with Doyle and Batch as the top 2, probably easily the best top 2 in the league (Saying that and I'm not particularly a fan of either)

No, it was voted down. But, did they, perhaps, allow two riders over 8.00 and a 2 point rider as a concession to Swindon?

As the fans are a big part of the business, surely bringing back the 'fans voted rider of the year' makes perfect sense from a business perspective?

And when you say it won't happen again...do you mean signing the right rider at the right time? Kind of like Musielak in 2017. Surely lightning can't strike twice? Or would that make it three times?

Hopefully it won't need to happen again, as if it can be a Stewart type signing in there then I think we'll be ok

Not really.

Even with the Musielak signing in 2017 didn't win you the title if you're going to be honest. Swindon only won the title because the Wolverhampton side suffered injury after injury to the point they were left with no heat leaders. Realistically you got handed the title in 2017.

With reductions of 2.5%. Tail end will get ripped to shreds imo. No.7 has to be on a 3.00 or above. So 4.06 or 4.17 left (Possibly less) for a second string to ride with Doyle.

Doyle

Batch

Jensen

Ellis

Perks

Leaves 7.06

Doyle

Batch

Jensen

Musielak

Perks

Leaves 7.17

Yeah, you're probably right. 16 wins in a row and top of the table heading into the Playoffs, thoroughly undeserved title that one :)

Scrapped a 1 point with on aggregate when Wolverhampton were missing Freddie Lindgren & Jacob Thorssell. You would have got smashed if they rode. That's a fact.

Chris Harris & R/R for Freddie Lindgren & Jacob Thorssell is what handed you the title rather than signing Tobiasz Musielak

Facts can usually be proven. Fact is, we won the title that year, a year that was turned around when Tobiasz Musielak signed. The proof of that fact is undeniable, whilst what you propose as fact is merely opinion

Fact is you got handed the title that year. It was the equivalent of someone giving out leaflets in some random Swindon shopping centre.

Are you still banging this sad drum under a different alias, everyone knows you're anti swindon, those sour grapes have clearly made you more bitter, now toddle off and bore another thread.
