Would expect the FIM to start making some decisions sooner rather than later. It is not so much the crowds but the riders travelling to and from these events. SoN will have to be postponed or even cancelled for this year. The semi-final at Landshut can not go ahead on April 28. All sports activities in Bavaria for the months of March and April are already banned.

I have 1k€ worth of hotels booked for Daugavpils, another in the ferry trips and all... No tickets yet but what ever

Our ice hockey has been cancelled, all sports and activities cancelled for juniors but we’ll see what happens with Daugavpils. Not that fussed honestly, out of my hands. screm 8,050 Posted March 14, 2020 I have hotel booked for Manchester and tickets bought and printed, hopefully the SoN will be postponed to another date rather than cancelled altogether but right now and from what is being reported it very doubtful there`ll be a SoN this year be it Manchester or anywhere else for that matter. screm 8,050 Posted March 17, 2020 No speedway in GB until at least the middle of April where there will be a review, meaning the SoN meeting must be under severe threat.

If Europe is stil on a border lock down in mid April which is very likely then there has to be a decision around that time if not before. The BPSA will also have decisions to make around the same time about racing in the UK. If the Over 70's are being told to self isolate for 12 weeks that runs into mid June. SoN has no chance of going ahead May.8th Edited March 22, 2020 by Mark

I think you know the answer and doubt you will have long to wait for an official announcement. But hotels and airlines are offering refunds or to book another date in the future. Tickets at Belle Vue will be refunded.
