Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted October 3, 2020 Absolutely crap call again. Poland centric. There are other countries, perhaps more neutral, that could have held this event. Poland Poland Poland. A fix in the GP series for Polish riders and now a Polish track for the SON. Dreadful. 1

YOU know there is a pandemic doing the rounds? All the riders are already in Poland. Where else could they have held it 2

I would call: Canada, Kenya, UAE, Kenya, Scotland, Namibia, Holland, Ireland, Bermuda & Afghanistan non-cricketing countries often made up of players on passports of convenience not good enough to make their own national team A similar thing has happened with Rugby Union You obviously don't know much about cricket then, as the sport has been played in the Netherlands for over 150yrs. The Dutch have beaten the English twice at T20 cricket. Yes they have taken advantage of fielding players born outside the Netherlands on Dutch passports, but a significant core of the team grew up and learnt their cricket in the Netherlands. It is hardly as if England hasn't taken advantage of players born elsewhere on British passports...

Col 850 Posted October 4, 2020 It was always going to be in Poland, once British Government made it impossible to stage here since that is where all the riders are based & they can get fans in. Lublin is a stupid choice though, its a small venue in Polish Ekstraliga terms and a pretty awful track. Assuming Janowski is still on the Polish team managers blacklist it will be interesting to see who the Poles go with alongside Zmarlzlik. Piotr Pawlicki surely? Kubera will surely be reserve. Woffinden & Lambert (Bewley), Sayfutindov & A Laguta (Chuganov), Lindgren & Berntzon (??), Thomsen & Madsen (??), Doyle & Fricke (Lidsey). Assume Malik, Kvech & a.n.other Czech are finishing last? Gunner85 603 Posted October 4, 2020 Woffinden and Lambert. Lambert on his former Polish track Dan Bewley at reserve Definitely capable of top 3 result Do Britain proud in Lublin
LagutaRacingFan 1,929 Posted October 4, 2020 (edited) If it's at Lublin, Russia have to pick Grigory Laguta. His home track. Edited October 4, 2020 by KeirStarmerFan

No I don't, I'll admit that but there is a difference between cricketing countries and countries that play cricket. I would probably define a cricketing country as one that has some kind of sustained professional league.
