If the SoN was designed to stop Poland constantly winning the SWC can we now have it back to stop the Russians?                        Please?

With their other riders they’ve got next in line, I wouldn’t bet against them winning an event with 5 rider teams when you add in Grigori Laguta, Tarasenko and Kulakov too!

Emil needs to show that grit in the gps and he ll get there but ?

He doesn't ride the same in the GPs, no idea why.

He won Leszno the league title and he has just won Russia the world cup.

Scott Nicholls always seems to be the voice of reason. Absolutely correct that this meeting should never have started and should have been rolled over until tomorrow morning with a much better forecast.

Also correct IMO about the use of the U21 riders. There is a seperate competition altogether for U21 riders and this should be all about the best riders from each country.

That ride from Emil has just won Russia the world cup.

He is the best rider in the world.

He has been my favourite rider for the past seven years, but he can be frustratingly inconsistent. When on top form he is undoubtedly the most talented and exciting rider in the world.

Shame on Ceislak. His ego cost Poland big time.

Glad Poland didn’t win it.

As for teamGB. Can we get any lower? Difficult to achieve to be honest. We hear every year that all these youngsters are fighting to win through. Then end up as second strings in the second division at best.

You have to wait until next year!

Hey, I remember 1976 and 1979, when we didn't even bloody qualify!!!

And 1982!

Anyone with half a brain cell would have this rearranged on a day of better weather but guess what guys it's Speedway one of many jokes in the sporting world if you can even call it a sport.

That's the thing I've never understood.... Kelvin even said that tonight.

Oh dear, what was that!

Surely it should have been postponed until tomorrow morning.

Speedway really does itself no favours at times.

I have to disagree Steve.

Janowski and Pawlicki pulled sickies in order to miss a Polish international match. Zmarzlik is better than both Janowski and Pawlicki but he still shows up to every international match.

Polish fans are very much behind Cieslak.

We are in indifferent times of course , but trying to stage any Speedway meeting in North Europe in the middle of October would be construed as a gamble with the weather
