DOUBT it. He will gain more from just being at an event of that statue, learn from the experience. No real pressure on him to score. Watch how world class riders go about their business.

HOW (see what I did there?) do you know that?  He is likely to be comfortably last in whatever races he takes part in....that will help him at this level how?

Doesn't matter what the question is - Harris is no longer the answer

What if the question is "what do cockney's call their arses?" :)

I imagine Bewley takes all the rides anyway so the third team member might as well be someone who benefits from the experience, as will Bewley.  Might even get to have a pop at some of the U21 riders as we look prime candidates to be on the end of that tactic.

Such a shame Woffinden is injured as I genuinely thought we had a good chance.  Hopefully in the not too distant future we'll be able to adequately replace him.  As someone mentioned earlier Adam Ellis might have been worth a punt but not fair on the lad when he's been injured.

Absolutely correct...the lack of planning and foresight over the years has been one of the major problems

I can see your point of view Philip regarding experience for the likes of Kemp, but just a example, i remember attending the U21 at Kings Lynn in2016.

Zach Wajtknecht was half a straight behind the 3rd place rider! that cant do your confidence any good at all

Would that not have been the same for Adam Ellis, who is much closer to appoint in his career where he might benefit from the experience?

Riders like Ellis and Steve Worrall have indicated that they are able to perform well at this level. I think it's riders like that which should have been given an opportunity here, and at least they might have been in contention for a place when riding.

Think the point you are missing is that GB have a "Squad".

A senior Squad and an Academy Squad.

Adam Ellis and Charles Wright are in the senior Squad (with Tai / Lambert / Bewley (who is in both) but Worralls, Bomber and Lawson aren't.

The Academy Squad includes likes of Kemp, Brennan, Palin, Gilkes;Flint;Edwards, Rowe; Bickley etc .

So to bring in Bomber / Worralls / Lawson would have been same as Southgate calling a footballer in to his 22 man Squad and straight in to team.

Kemp and Palin have been given U21 slots and Lambert, Bewley have main slots after Tai's injury

Possible that Ellis is still not 100% although it looks like he is doing Peter Craven Meeting, but IMO the 2 Worrell’s  or Ellis would have been a better choice as the 2nd rider. What we don’t know though is  who was asked!!

Lets hope that Tai continues to lend Bewley his bikes as he has for the Polish Play Off finals. bewley scored a lot of points on them, which really showed that he needs to upgrade his motors, and he was growing in confidence every ride.

Bewley is the under-21 rider according to the SON website.

Ellis may not be fully fit, but if he is I would have gone for him as Wright is presumably not available this year.

Maybe it’s more about set-ups than equipment .Woffys crew know a lot more than others.

NOTHING to gain by having Harris there. Look to the future. England have some excellent prospects coming through the ranks. Invest in them and, hopefully, reap the benefit later.

Have the Worrall's been jettisoned by GB Speedway? Steve was on the verge of International class before his injury, seems a strange decision to pick Kemp ahead of either of them
