Stop flights, shut schools and it might but the one we have now means it will drag on. But we can all look forward to three months of the new normal after this lockdown before we get put into another one. 1 Share this post Link to post

Lots of you are moaning and groaning about the Nov lockdown and how it'll possibly drag on. But NOT one of you have made any comments or suggestions on what else can be done that will guarantee a slowing down of the spread of the virus....which is exactly what lockdown will do as long as folk adhere to the law, not guidance, but law. 1 Share this post Link to post

Yup Just have to look at R&Rs stats for the UK or here to look at the german stats to see the curve is nothing like the one you posted, so they are using the figures in a way to give a false view I guess https://www.google.com/search?biw=1366&bih=599&ei=lNaeX6K5GsT2kwWjqZD4Cw&q=germany+covid&oq=germany+covid&gs_lcp=CgZwc3ktYWIQDDIICAAQyQMQkQIyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAA6BAgAEEM6BAguEEM6AgguUITJOFiz6Dhg2YM5aAFwAHgAgAHZAYgBxwuSAQU1LjcuMZgBAKABAaoBB2d3cy13aXqwAQDAAQE&sclient=psy-ab&ved=0ahUKEwii0-nt1uHsAhVE-6QKHaMUBL8Q4dUDCAw#spf=1604246055049 3 Share this post Link to post

We dont have the details of whats really happening and no one is telling us If they gave us the full information then we could make our minds up, till then the only thing to go on is the failed lockdown we have already gone through 2 Share this post Link to post
THE DEAN MACHINE 3,937 Posted November 1, 2020 The police are acting very worrying and clearly this is coming from strange orders above but it is good to see certain officers are not happy about the police force being used against the people 1 Share this post Link to post

That Nordic country went maverick and rejected radical shutdowns. It opted only to ban large gatherings while closing universities and high schools. It also urged people to work from home to the extent possible. Otherwise bars, restaurants, primary schools, and retail shops stayed open. Supporters of the model claim that this allowed Sweden to avoid economic devastation while maintaining a death toll in the European middle — between U.K.'s high and Denmark's low. But that's misleading because Sweden's 576.25 deaths per million fatality rate is much closer to England's 682 deaths per million (almost on par with America's 690 per million) than Denmark's 122.88 — even though Sweden's population density is only 1/6th that of Denmark's. (Norway, whose population density is similar to Sweden's, has an even lower 52.36 per million death rate.) Edited November 1, 2020 by Vincent Blachshadow 5 Share this post Link to post

I did, I stated schools should be shut and flights be stopped from coming in the country. If we are doing this do it properly otherwise we will be in and out of lockdown which will hurt businesses more. Shut everything apart from food shops. If people think this current half arsed idea by the clowns is going to work in the long run they are seriously wrong. 6 1 Share this post Link to post
