The gullible dash to be tested hoping for their £500. Cases up, lockdown justified, job done. UBI getting ever closer, as predicted. 3 1 1 Share this post Link to post

So, if you get covid and isolate, you can get £500 yeah,,, if you were to catch covid again say, after 28 days, would you get another £500? Share this post Link to post

I am getting confused by the conspiracy. Maybe you are too? Can I remind you that yesterday the conspiracy was PCR test revision will mean cases down Today your conspiracy is cases up !!! You are covering all bases I must say. No matter what happens it confirms your conspiracy 4 Share this post Link to post

Don’t we effectively have that already with means-tested benefits? Would the Tories really vote to allow people to sit on their backsides? 1 Share this post Link to post
DC2 8,156 Posted January 22 UK chief medical adviser Prof Chris Whitty has spoken about "de-risking" Covid. His point is that we will reach a situation at which the level of death and illness caused by Covid is at a level society can "tolerate" - just as we tolerate 7,000 to 20,000 people dying from flu every year. BBC exactly and also why we " tolerate" road accidents and many other " casualties " and "risks" associated with this thing called " life" 4 1 Share this post Link to post

Frankly I would now rather believe in all those positives and the fact that we have had millions of cases as per the ONS weekly estimates - with currently one million cases in England - as it shows that, while Covid may near the virulence of a cold, it kills a very small proportion of people, or more accurately is present when a relatively small number has died. Being present in 100,000 deaths out of maybe 18 million cases? Giving a maximum fatality rate of 1 in 180, or 0.55%, but in all likelihood somewhere between 0.5% and 0.25%. 2 Share this post Link to post
