Covid-19 Are we being told the truth ?

Anecdotal scaremongering is counterproductive.

I now know at least ten people who have had the AZ vaccine over the last week with no side effect other than a sore arm and fatigue for 24 hours, just as with the flu vaccine.

Swindon alone must be vaccinating 4,000 a day.

I'm sure if they know you, then a Covid jab is the least of their headaches :D

Actually though I doubt it will put into touch the zero Covid, as she always seems to point to countries where it has worked a hell of a lot better than the UK's strategy. But hey-ho, the old British attitude of 'we know best ' with Boris in charge

You mean Australia and NZ, who had very low initial infections which they have since maintained only with disproportionate, draconian lockdowns and closed borders which will see them isolated for years to come unless they accept a degree of Covid, like flu.

Well she does use them, but a few Asian countries as well as her examples of how to beat the virus

And NZ did just hold a concert with 30,000 people without masks.....not bad. Think a lot would swap with them

You're way out of touch with reality, once again.

Oh really?

Tell me when NZ is opening up for unrestricted tourism?

Or will it insist on pre-arrival and on arrival negative tests, two weeks quarantine at your expense in a hotel and cities locked down at the drop of a hat if only one case is found?

You'd better ask Jacinda, but their economy hasn't suffered the way ours has. And whenever they open up you can be sure that there will be strenuous checks pre departure, and even more vigorous checks on arrival.  Its a shame you couldn't say anything positive about NZ,  it's got a far better economic prognosis for the future than the UK has at the moment.

It’s a wonderful country, but a Zero Covid policy will not work over time.

It’s like having a Zero Flu policy,

Impossible.

And if they lockdown every time they have a single case businesses will fail.

And there’s no comparison between the world’s 5th biggest, powerhouse economy and the 52nd.

''Geology is arguably the most integrated of all of the sciences because it involves the understanding and application of all of the other sciences: physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, astronomy, and others. But unlike most of the other sciences, geology has an extra dimension, that of time—billions of years of it. Geologists study the evidence that they see around them, but in most cases, they are observing the results of processes that happened thousands, millions, and even billions of years in the past. Those were processes that took place at incredibly slow rates—millimeters per year to centimeters per year—but because of the amount of time available, they produced massive results''.

Extra million people going on the shielding list so ITV interview the fat 45 year old with type 2 diabetes who says “disappointed to be told to shield only now when I’ve been vulnerable for a year”.

Strewth, where’s the personal responsibility, both to avail yourself of the risks and to minimise them for yourself?
