Covid-19 Are we being told the truth ?

It took a couple of months for sage to come to the conclusion that the vaccines given in the UK were effective against death and hospitalisation from covid. That is with unlimited access to all the facts and figures compiled in the way they wanted.

Amazing how it's taken them a fraction of the time to judge the resistance of a new variant with a fraction of the information.

At times Sage have appeared breathtakingly stupid.

If the BBC actually started quoting back their pronouncements to them and gave them a good grilling, instead of fawning over their daily navel-gazing, they would be exposed as “worst case scenario, cover our backsides and get a knighthood committee men” rather than realistic scientists looking for evidence-based solutions.

Think we all need to be like Bobby Dingwall. Cases are irrelevant at this point in time. The most vulnerable are vaccinated. If we are gonna turd ourselves at every variant then what is the point of vaccination in the first place

One one of my mates was rushed to hospital after he fell into an upholstery machine  but his is now fully re-covered.

A bloke I knew worked in a cereal factory and died after falling into a huge vat of muesli. He was pulled under by a strong currant.

Sage originally heralded the vaccines as miraculous.

They pointed out that a normal vaccine is a success if it saves 50% of lives.

They got vaccines that save 95%.

They’ve seen daily deaths fall from 1,600 to 10.

They’ve seen hospitalisations fall from 38,000 to 1,000.

They’ve revised their irrational fear of a notional “third wave” from 100,000 fatalities to 9,000 and they’ve admitted that there is no chance of the NHS being overwhelmed

And yet they still scaremonger about a theoretical possibility rather than accept that it’s time to get on with life and face the future as it arises.

You might not like this, you may not agree with it, you may even laugh at it but there's one thing that is fact, this is the stuff that Johnson and Hancock are using, 'following the science'.

https://dailyexpose.co.uk/2021/05/12/uk-government-model-states-the-fully-vaccinated-will-dominate-deaths-in-3rd-wave-and-they-will-blame-children-and-unvaccinated-for-it/?utm_campaign=meetedgar&utm_medium=social&utm_source=meetedgar.com

UK officials ‘anxious’ over spread of Indian variant, Johnson warns (msn.com)

From this article:-

'The government’s Scientific Advisory Group on Emergencies (Sage) was due to meet on Thursday to discuss the emerging evidence on both the transmissibility and vaccine resistance of the B.1.617 variant'.

Can't see any mention of this evidence other than that.

Here’s the BBC this morning:

Second vaccine jabs could be given earlier and local restrictions imposed to tackle the Indian Covid variant in badly hit areas, the UK government says, after cases more than doubled to 1,313 in a week. The Department of Health and Social Care says "economic or social" restrictions could be imposed in parts of England, if any variant "escapes the vaccine". However, there's "no firm evidence yet" to show that's the case with the Indian variant, or that it has any greater impact on severity of disease.

I imagine it will be similar to the Kent/South African variant. Mass panic, but then no discernible change in hospitalisations/deaths which will lead it to fading into obscurity as only scary is sexy.

Because you can still catch covid and spread it to others who haven't been vaccinated.  Dear oh dear...

Do you mean Joe Biden who went into a Zoom meeting and was the only one wearing a mask (in the Zoom meeting).

The guy doesn’t know which day of the week it is.
