You mean you can spread it to the under 38s who barely know they have it when they get it? So what? 3 Share this post Link to post

The Department of Health and Social Care says "economic or social" restrictions could be imposed in parts of England, if any variant "escapes the vaccine". However, there's "no firm evidence yet" to show that's the case with the Indian variant, or that it has any greater impact on severity of disease. Maybe they're just trying to speed up the job before they're properly rumbled? 1 Share this post Link to post

Well maybe the unvaccinated should stay in the house until they've had their jab and are safe/ish/er. 1 Share this post Link to post

OveFundinFan 3,788 Posted May 14, 2021 So what happened in Dec/Jan which would be in “the season”. Due to lockdown figures were coming down, there was a release for pagan festivities ie “Xmas and new year” and look what happened, 4 months and more of lockdowns again. 1 Share this post Link to post

Tell us why countries that never locked down have similar or better rates than the UK, and if lockdowns work why are we still in one... 1 1 Share this post Link to post

Not just still in one, but in the second one, and that doesn't include the local lockdowns as well Share this post Link to post

B*gger all happened in terms of the effectiveness of the November lockdown and the Tier System. The virus started to rise at the start of the season in October. It peaked at the peak of the season in January. And it ended at the end of the season in April. Just like flu every year. With vaccines reducing the worst effects and transmissibility. 1 1 Share this post Link to post
