What’s the government’s logic behind imposing a test on day two when I return from Spain, bearing in mind it will be the second day of my ten day quarantine and I also have to have a test on day eight? Can you explain that? Share this post Link to post

Are you saying that Covid policy should have no regard to economic necessity? Even NHS treatments and criminal sentences depend on the economics of their costs and benefits. The fact now is that daily Covid deaths at 6 are only just above daily road deaths at 5. Is that a compelling reason to continue with restrictions at the expense of the economy? 1 Share this post Link to post

Didn't particularly notice a price hike when I booked but you may well be right. I won't be paying a fortune out when I get back though (at the moment, anyway). 18 minutes ago, DC2 said: So what? Three tests, costing hundreds of pounds, and a 10-day quarantine. Spain's leaders have the same information as Britain's. But Britain has Sage. I’m pretty sure that the weight of evidence will come to bear in June despite Sage clinging to the vague possibility of a “variant of absolutely no concern whatsoever” on the moon. 1 Share this post Link to post
