I remember one time at BV (I think, must have been a BLRC) when he tried to give Sam Ermolenko the nickname "Emperor Sam"!!!! This was after about 10 years of him ALWAYS being referred to as "Sudden Sam"... still makes me laugh

That's all I remember Jessup for, packing up... It's always explained away as luck which annoys me, it always happened too often for it to be luck... Another rider who I always felt suffered "bad luck" with his engines too often was Richard Hellsen

I'm not sure...was it Shorespeed Spares or some such name? Used to have a van at some southern tracks.

That was it, Shorne Speed Racing... was it just spares? Maybe just selling "luck"

Read once he used to drill holes in the carb jet which would then break .
