Just watched Wolf Hall series. Reminded me of the Godfather.

Every now and again I was expecting Rylance to make someone an offer they couldn't refuse

Love all of the Sherlock Holmes films/episodes did not enjoy the modern day BBC Sherlock though. My favourite film is the voice of terror 1943 Rathbone / Bruce superb as usual Jeremy Brett in later years on par with Rathbone he was that good.

Got hold of a Shoestring (Trevor Eve) box set recently. Enjoyed it as a 14-year-old; enjoying it just as much as a 54-year-old!

It's a shame, from the same era, The Chinese Detective (David Yip) isn't available.

Just watching the three Unforgotten series (with the excellent Nicola Walker).

"Porterhouse Blue" starring David Jason and Ian Richardson...always worthy of a view even if it's based on the other lot at Cambridge!

The book it was based on was hilarious like most of Tom Sharpe's novels

I would say it's equally relevant today.
