Why did they get rid of the points limit in Poland?

It seems counter-productive for entertainment.

Poland desperately needs a points limit and salary cap.

cmon, thats one of the worst things ever in speedway. just check point limit for this game - top six riders in Gorzow: 42,23 / Grudziadz: 43,62. look at Lambert, he started this season with 4,9. you could've made a great squad from those low capped riders

the heat format is all over the place, there's no sign of any team riding... yet the fans lap it up, personally I just can't understand it.

Rule #2 applies, even in Civvie Street.

At the moment it doesn't look as if premier sports are showing any of these fixtures either live or delayed.

I`m sure they will- it`s a look way ahead and their current main schedule only is up to the 8th currently.

Edit under their more sports/speedway they have the Sunday matches live.

More significant than it may seem too....IF (and it's a big mathematical IF) Stal and Wroclaw finish on equal league points, then Stal have just been awarded a 40-point "points difference" advantage. They have gone from being 8 points behind on points difference to now being 32 points ahead of Wroclaw. Wroclaw have a match in hand and no doubt will go hell for leather at Rybnik to win by as many as possible, but it all makes for an interesting end to the season.

Stal Gorzow have 2 "cup final" meetings ahead of them...the home derby against Mickey Mouse and then the away meeting at Wroclaw. Interesting times ahead.

Just as well Gorzow got away with the stadium " electrical problems" shenanigans- it was the longest repair job in history :)

Anyone else fancy Gorzow to possibly go on and win it? If Iversen comes back and scores half decent, they've looked a right force in recent weeks since Holder signed for them. Could make for a fascinating end to the season!

they won't make it i guess. Falubaz signed Kulakov and need 1/3 points to get there. and will probably get them against Leszno who will prefer riding against Falubaz than Gorzow

Falubaz have three tough matches, Leszno home and Lublin and Gorzow away

Which team is Falubaz?

The tone of that suggests you believe that there was some impropriety? Maybe you know something that escaped the fire investigators attention, who, if they'd have spotted anything would have had to notify the police. Maybe the insurance company's investigators would like to hear from you so that they can get out of paying a claim?

So unless there is a massive conspiracy going on between the fire investigators, law enforcement and the insurers, and you can provide evidence of this, I'd be inclined to believe that your claimed "shenanigans" was actually a genuinely unfortunate accident.

Zielona Gora. Sorry, it's easy to forget how many new members there are here.

Here's a quick guide.

Unia Leszno

Falubaz Zielona Gora,)

Stal Gorzow,

Sparta Wroclaw

etc...

The situation isn't helped when you look at the Polish press who have a convention of giving prominence to the title sponsor, so, to use the teams above:
Fogo Unia Leszno
RM Solar Falubaz Zielona Góra
Motor Lublin
Moje Bermudy Stal Gorzów
Betard Sparta Wrocław
etc

Most of the time, the town that a team represents isn't included in headlines, just the sponsor and the team name. All part of the learning curve.
