Riders that only rode for London teams

Recommended Posts

Freddie Williams of course from the other thread

But also his team mate at Wembley George Wilks in a decent career, never left London as his base, riding for Harringay, Hackney, Wembley and West Ham. So didn't even have his home base south of the river

Bluey  Wilkinson and Eric Chitty only West Ham; Vic Huxley Harringay and Wimbledon, Frank Arthur Stamford Bridge and Harringay, Lionel Van Praag Wembley and New Cross, Roger Frogley Crystal Palace and New Cross, Sverre Harrfeldt Wimbledon, West Ham, Wembley

Tiger Stevenson, West Ham only. Good point about four teams. I'll give it some thought.....

Gus Kuhn also rode for Southampton ? Dicky Case also rode for 5 London teams, but also one team outside (Coventry)

Didn't Colin Watson have a spell at Sheffield?

I actually thought Kuhn rode for a team in the midlands, which is why I checked. Must have mixed him up with someone else. But guess he qualifies for the other thread, having come from Birmingham and never rode for them
