Some positive news about Peter. Initially uncontentious but regained contentiousness. He has full movement and can sense his arms and legs.

Thank you for letting us know that, can't stop worrying about him,  terrible crash.

Maybe the ref took on a bit of compassion for Van Dyck, Llung was out of the race anyway and the young rider must've been feeling it.

Rospiggarna defeated Indianerna with 49-41. Aspgren scored a maximum 15p for Indianerna and Fricke at 11.

When the refs start making decisions based on compassion the sport is finished

Ljung charged under him and took his line. Rightly excluded.

That decision has divided opinion.  Not always easy being a ref???  They do cock up though. :D

I know but just taking the situation on it's own, to exclude the lad when he's already carrying the burden of sending Llung over the fence, it was immaterial to the race really.  Anyway you're right, I was just feeling sad for the youngster, it's a tough sport and hopefully stays that way.

Only rider nr 7 can replace another rider (except for possible tactical substitute). Like RR says it cannot be used for a rider that becomes injured during the meeting.

It seems nr 6 might be allowed to be used as a reserve after all.
