Kemp, Bickley  and Palin. At the last meeting Archie Freeman looked a good prospect.

Archie had a horrendous crash last night when he visited an airfence at full throttle at Edinburgh , after clipping the back wheel of Harry McGurk. Bike all wrecked, but after checking himself over, he is going to ride in today's meeting. This meeting will be more experience for him, being the youngest rider in the field at 15 years old.

Hard lads these kids. Luke Harrison has two crashes at the same place in the same meeting and had to withdraw from the meeting.

Armadale takes a bit learning ,it not a track where you just twist the throttle, glad to hear he is ok.Skill and throttle control is a must.

Congrats to Drew

Hopefully the weather plays ball and The Massif can give him the reception he deserves at the British Final

Well done to Dan Gilkes. People talk about Drew, the Thompsons and Jordan a lot, but Dan is right up there with them. That was certainly a good crop of talent on show today. And Dan a Racer at Development League level too!

Firstly well done all the riders and especially Drew.

Looking at the video footage of the pits and track areas on the Speedway GB Facebook page, I was surprised at the lack of face covering in place, the amount of hugging allowed and the relaxed attitude to social distancing.

I would have expected it to be much stricter.

That, unfortunately, is the lax attitude in the UK generally. Look into the Moto GP scene, of the Formula 1 scene, or even the Speedway GP scene in Poland, and riders and pit crew ARE wearing face masks, though social distancing is difficult within a pit area, that has to be accepted (but only 2 pit crew at speedway GP’s). At the San Marino, Italy, GP this last two weekends there has been a crowd of 5,000 in a 100,000 stadium, nicely spread out, in the UK some fans are demanding full capacity to watch a weak British Final at Ipswich.

You're right Arnie...Go a long way to see racing of this quality.  Thoroughly enjoyable 2 hours..(and perhaps they can sort out the p.a. before next year!..)

Flint seems to have stalled a bit this season ,he has had a few meetings but not really showing good form.

I thought he looked pretty good, but had no speed. I think it is most likely he just hasn't had enough outings to sort out his set up.
