That final was a shambles and unfair. One side was so much stronger than the other.

Say what you want about the BSPA but the guest system makes meetings fairer.

Lublin should have been allowed a guest like Dudek for Laguta.

What absolute nonsense...

Never heard anything so daft in all my life...

Zmarzlik should have been the guest allowed for Lublin..

Given Gorzow didnt make the final, they should have changed the days of the play offs to allow him to ride for Gorzow AND Lublin...

Or at least allowed Gorzow a ZZ facility to cover his Lublin outing on the same day if a fixture change couldn't happen..

Thank goodness the BSPL dont run the sport like their Polish counterparts do...

It would be a disaster wouldnt it?

So one team has Janowski, Laguta and Woffinden.

The other team doesn't have a single GP rider.

How is that fair? Poland should bring back the 1 GP rider rule.

They had the European Champion.

Who is a GP rider next year..

And sport often isnt "fair"...

That's the premise behind it that makes it watchable...

Can an underdog upset the favourite..?

eg was it 'fair' that Anthony Joshua was several stone heavier, and a good few inches taller, than his opponent on Saturday?

Didnt stop Usyk taking him apart did it?

And the Polish RR system can cover a top rider quite adequately...

You win or lose as a team..

Not a hybrid, contrived, "for one night only", septet...

Because if you allow that...

Not many will be interested in watching it, televising it, and sponsoring it...

Think Lublin will be happy the way”their” Team performed given  the injury to Laguta.Polish supporters support “their” team and associate with them.In GB it’s just anybody we can find to ride for us system.Just a joke sport here on who are Champions and Cup winners. It means so much more in Poland.

It is fair though, Lublin had exactly the same opportunity to put together the team Wroclaw did... What would have been unfair is if the final had been run over 11 rounds with 6 of them being held in Wroclaw, 1 at Lublin, and 4 others on neutral tracks

In 2022 the Extraleague is almost certainly altering the play- offs to increase it to 6 teams qualifying thus increasing the season’s total matches from 64 to 70.

I think it’s a shame, especially the “best loser” getting into the semi finals.

I wonder why they haven’t just introduced a cup competition for more matches? The play offs work great currently.

Tend to agree, but the Teams in Poland seem to be more evenly match ,so probably not many meaningless fixtures.

That’s why I think a KO Cup would be perfect

You can see the logic..

Keeps the season going for those fifth, six, seventh and eighth and keeps their fans interested..

Within a match or two you could be in the play offs or relegated...

Also, isnt the plan to extend the top league to ten teams?

Maybe it will be done the season after?

Meaning the seventh and eighth teams dont "coast" knowing no relegation rides on it...

And obviously, the play offs bring big crowds, and I presume, very good viewing figures..
