Are they building temporary stands again for Manchester?

If not hope they do and realise extra tickets from a selfish point of view as looking to now attend.

Speedway Star still advertising a ticket and accommodation package for the weekend :t:

The SON website is showing the capacity at 4,000 which I'm sure is without the temporary stands.

I asked the question on here at least a month ago and the answer was No. It would be too risky being October. When they did it in 2016 it was June time, nice summer evenings, and it was still sold out, but almost full.

Will Freddie Lindgren be available afterr his crash on saturday ?  If he was concussed surely he would have to miss 8-10 days

Just looking at that line-up is depressing. One world-class rider in the entire field.

Anyone else remember the days of an SWC event including the likes of Crump, Gollob, Pedersen, Rickardsson and Adams.

What happens to Germany now, if Smolinski can’t ride? Although why would they name him yesterday if he crashed on Saturday

Probably because they had submitted their team  before the injury occurred. The deadline wasn`t yesterday morning when it was announced. Riders can be replaced if injured so they will bring in either Riss, Fienhage , Busch or Hartel i expect or promote Blodorn and bring in Baumann.

Not on that occasion Ian. I was sat in the temporary stand on bend 3-4.
It was a track that prepared wrong on the Friday evening, too grippy, fast track, no racing.  Someone else must have took the lead for Saturday night as the track was prepared differently and racing was very good.

All looks a bit second division to me, but maybe that will make it more exciting

Yes, from memory it did rain in the lead up to the meeting leaving the track heavy and the racing processional... the next day was awesome though
