Of course, but he said he needs to concentrate at establishing himself in the 2 higher leagues.

Plus obviously his average is too high now anyway.

According to The BSPAs 2019 Final Green Sheet Averages Ryan Douglas is 8.31. Your list has him on 8.52.

Unless they have changed the rules I believe you couldn’t ride NL if your CL average was 4 or above or had no CL team place.

Yep... I had it right the first time although by accident as I thought he was British and applied a 2.5% reduction to him to get to the correct average... then changed it under instruction... but never mind we got there eventually

That's what I thought but can see the scheme been extended to allow riders like James and Ashley Morris

Surely it's got to,it should have been mooted that the riding star applies if you've not hot any British reserves,if you have you carry on with your 1-7 or you add them to the list simples!!

If that’s correct it makes a mockery of any conversion factor for doubling-up or down.

I am guessing there has been a rule change as his average should be higher, making him ineligible for the championship. Anyone with an average higher than 12 must come in on a 12point average, making the Championship open to anyone.

How's that Neil?

If he's an 8 in the top league times that by 1.5 and it makes him a 12 in this one... nowt wrong with that surely...
