Nice touch that Buckingham Palace are flying the flag at half mast in his honour. Not many achieve that. Rest well Tom, thoughts and love are with your family and friends. chunky 3,470 Posted February 2 Not discrediting anyone for their efforts in making this world a better place, but when you think of all the individuals who are assured that they "make a difference", how many can actually compare to a great man like this? 3 Share this post Link to post

Hawk127 813 Posted February 2 When the chips are down you need an inspirational character to come out of the covers and inspire as many as possible. This gentleman achieved in bucket loads what many of us could only dream of, modest, a stalwart and a man who made a simple solution mean so much to so many. When they write the history books for Covid this Sir Tom will have a prominent place. Tonight we bow our heads in respect. Sir, RIP. 3 Share this post Link to post
