100% Zaine Kennedy the final rider , Dickson liked his post of “itching to get back on the bike” , good signing IMO

If the 100% certain final member does turn out to be ZK - then that is one heck of a team by any standards.  Well done for the shrewd business done on the last two deals.  Still early days yet, but it may well be that the play-offs will have only one place left vacant after L.P.& G. have staked their claim.  Possible early favourites to squabble over final place would include R, S. & E. with perhaps at least one looking for a fresh face to improve chances.  Early predictions can usually come back to bite, as injuries and unforeseen events can play a big part in the outcome, however the build up to the final part of the season will certainly be tasty.

Shrewd as ever from Mr Dickson. Did we ever find out what the story was with him and the Facenna's?

it’s only the top 4 into the play offs with top of the table getting a choice of opponent in the semi final.

I have just been told Zaine Kennedy is not the 2nd signing & it will be somebody else coming into the team for Saturday.

How’s that work then?

Will probably be 3v6 4v5 then 1st v worst winner and 2nd v best winner in the semis

or

Possibly 2 groups of 3, race the other 2 teams in ur group h&a and top of each group race in final, think the young shield used to be like that

Although I am a big Scott Nicholls fan , Hans Andersen is a good replacement . I might even make the effort to come & watch Hans ride despite making the vow to never return .

If Zaine Kennedy happens to be the worst kept secret since Hans Andersen, it may be that Leicester will have a guest on Saturday, pending his arrival and all of the paperwork being completed; also, coming from Australia, would he have to quarantine for 10 days? Don't know what the rules are for sports people and whether or not he would be classed as elite to be waved straight through the door at Heathrow.

If this 2nd signing has problems then will it have to be a NL guest not declared in a Premiership or Championship side?

When Hans Andersen is declared into the team line-up, Proctor and Bates will be removed and an eligible rider with an average of 4.01 or less will be declared; that rider will then be replaced by Kennedy in a new declaration as soon as he is available.

Last season (2019) the top four in the Championship made the play offs, where is the source (can't see anything on the SGB website, although it does state that it is the top four in the Premiership) that states it is the top six (as it was a few years ago) that qualify?
