Leicester Lions 2021

Recommended Posts

I have to say that Ty's comment to the extent that he was trying to do a full time job and ride for two clubs, a bit surprising. I know it depends a lot on the full time job, but just riding for two clubs alone must get hectic at times. I have rated Ty in the past but his all round performance for Leicester this season has been very disappointing. I left Brough Park on Sunday very angry indeed and was 99% certain then that we'd seen Ty's last race for Leicester (for now at least). I wish him the very best. He can be good enough to make a very positive contribution to any club. But right now, Leicester need a second string that can score a solid 5 or 6, especially when running RR for Josh Bates. The twins have really stepped up of late, especially Dan. But we have to remember they are still only 17 with limited experience. It's not fair to rely on them to compensate for two low scoring second strings. If the team sort out those 2 and 4 positions, they'll be a match for any team, home or away.

2. Josh Bates

3. Josh Auty

4. Kyle Howarth

5. Ryan Douglas

6. Dan Thompson

7. Joe Thompson

Brilliant team

That team would be above the points limit!

Get rid of Bates and sign Josh Auty.

Such a change would exceed the points limit.

Would Luke Becker come in on an assessed average or a calculated average using his Premiership figures?

I don’t think he’s ridden Championship before.

His converted PL average of 5.27, hence 7.91

Who do Leicester ride in the next round of the K/O Cup?

It's too early to say yet! Leicester have qualified for the semi finals but I believe only Edinburgh v Newcastle is completed from the earlier rounds.

CHAMPIONSHIP KNOCKOUT CUP LINE-UP:

ROUND ONE:
Edinburgh v Newcastle - Edinburgh progress to QFs
Redcar v Birmingham
Plymouth v Poole
Eastbourne v Kent

ROUND TWO (Quarter-Finals):
Edinburgh v Redcar / Birmingham
Plymouth / Poole v Eastbourne / Kent
Berwick v Glasgow
Scunthorpe v Leicester

Becker rides for Łódź in Poland I believe, as well as in Sweden, and at Wolves, so can’t have another team anyways

Not with Proctor gone too.

So why not suggest a double change in the first place, explaining who you suggest would be dropped and who you would bring in as the replacement riders.

Will they have a 28 day guest rider facility for "rider witholding his services"? I wouldn't rule out the chances of Ty Proctor returning but only riding in the Championship.

As for Josh Bates, what about Lewis Bridger as a replacement??

I believe Bridger has sold all his gear
