Yeah it is,it's 35.50 from what I've seen for top 6 and any rising star so Sheffield have a distinct advantage to start off with, where as Peterborough have a 1grade and on the back foot...

All rising stars are graded the same in the Premiership.

1* > 4* is only relevant in the Championship. That's how I've understood it.

That's what I said.

The top 6 have a team limit they all work too,, and if anyone is stupid enough to pick a grade 1 not grade 4,,, then they are even more stupid

And you will have the crazy situation of Sheffield having a No7 with a higher average than 2 of the other 6 in the team.......

It'll be interesting to see who ends up finishing the season with the better record?  4* Bates or 1* Palin?  Ultimately that's what matters.

If the last year has taught us anything it's that statistics are only ever part of the story.

And it's not as if the others on the 4* list are guilt edged prospects.

While Palin may be a good prospect for the future, I'm positive Bates will be the stronger rider in 2021!

Josh Bates final 2019 GSA is 5.20, bearing in mind he is likely to ride at no 7 how on earth can it be right to compare him with any of the other Rising stars riding at no 7 who have yet to ride in the Premiership.

Its ludicrous.

Palin is a talent I don’t think many will argue with that, but as you say Bates and Bacon have a clear advantage over most of the other no 7,s.

They’re not the kind of riders the scheme should have been for.

There was a special committee set up to launch the Rising Star Programme.

Would imagine between them they will have set up the criteria.

The promoters who set up scheme were;

Mark Lemon Belle Vue

Chris Louis Ipswich

Dale Allitt Kings Lynn

Jitendra Duffill Redcar

John Campbell Edinburgh

All have responsibility for it as well as those above

Doesnt matter who made the decisions just that the wrong ones were made. We wont know the reasons and influences

No matter how much deflection Sheffield fans attempt it wont make it right. What you should be doing us condemning it rather than trying to justify it...
