What is a surprise to me is the press release completely ignoring the fact that the two Scottish teams have been awarded grants, whereas English teams have been told that they might possibly perhaps get something or they might get nothing and it might be a grant or it might be a loan.....yippee!

I’m sure the Scottish Clubs are very glad of the grants, what surprise me is the they were awarded different amounts.Wonder what the criteria was regarding this matter.!!

Clubs have been given nothing its a loan, and as with all loans clubs will have to repay it. Short term very good news but you get the feeling it will be long term pain for many

Possibly explains the lowering of standards...

The loan will allow them to start the season, then the TV money will help pay the loan...

The last time they had a decent TV contract the money just got 'frittered' away..

Maybe this time it will actually be invested in ths right places for the future. .

Don't forget that all loans have to be paid back with interest and its the interest that kills most business.

2% over 10 years is what’s been reported on the GP site.

No repayments for first two years, then 2% over the remaining eight years

Loaning money to speedway promoters- we could see the Horton`s and Terry Lindon making a comeback :)

Don't say that. Just as things are beginning to look a little brighter as we come out of lockdown this sort of news would wreck my cheerier thoughts.:)

That's a similar deal to the business bounce back loan scheme very good deal if  you can use it for the benefit of your business
