Premiership League Prediction 2021

Recommended Posts

I don’t think Belle Vue look at all strong. The way to success is for riders to increase their averages but other than Dan and maybe Jye, who else will?

Sheffield look nailed on for the title but it’s a very expensive team Batchelor, Holder, Ellis, Howarth and, erm, their rising star won’t come cheap.

Wolves need their two Americans to score well if they’re going anywhere.

Peterborough should pick up the “best endeavour” prize.

Kings Lynn have some much rumoured team building problems but Buster will find a way through them.

Which leaves Ipswich. My guess is that, like in 2019, they’ll surprise a few. Crumple has certainly been serious about his racing and Klindt is racing well. Add the experience of King and Heeps and the enthusiasm of Stewart, Rowe and Kemp - especially Rowe, and you have a team that might repeat their 2019 position.

So, my order:

1. Sheffield, 2. Ipswich, 3/4. Belle Vue/Wolves, 5.Kings Lynn 6. Peterborough

Should be top team goes into play off final, with 2nd and 3rd placed teams, to fight it out to join them imho.

To give it some credibility and attainment value you would like to think this would be the plan wouldn't you?

WIth maybe a league winners shield for the No1 team?

I would think though that the No1 team would want a play off final to draw a crowd so the top four may be the outcome..

See I think the Panthers team could go either way, if the likes of Pedersen, Hans and Harris find anything like their form of old they could easily challenge the top 3.   If they prove to be finished and trundling around they'll be rock bottom. The team interests me greatly

The team that tops the table could win the Craven Shield!

To early to pick given not all teams are complete.

If he performs better than Bates and Kemp across the whole season I’ll take my hat off to him but can’t see it personally.

Given the shortage of fixtures ( 5  per team guaranteed) plus another 2 for p. off qualifiers you would think they could have a Wooden Spoon trophy meeting between teams 5 and 6 to give them another fixture ????  so every team wouldhave at least 6 fixtures with 7 for the p.off finalists.

And it would probably be a local derby...
