Thanks What a good idea. I know many take no interest in the whole idea of race times and track records. But some of us do. Nutz was running a thread trying to keep the current list up-to-date: Tracking the history of records is next to impossible. It's hard enough getting the current record for several tracks. Andrew 125 Posted May 6, 2021 Back in 1988,Sheffield Timekeeper Mike Beck,compiled a track record list from 1960/88 that was printed in a programme that season.A few years ago I copied it out and then added the times from 1998,also adding the average speed . There wasn't a track record for the 1960 season. Thanks I've got a file in preparation that tracks records from 1928 to 2009 (you might have seen some of my track records questions in the History section). I offered it to the researcher website but they declined it (see there 24th April update on the aims of their website). It's based predominantly on the files on the researcher website.
