Danish Championship Final Wednesday June 9th Vojens live on TV

Recommended Posts

Start time 9am UK time - meeting won`t be easy to watch as it`s being shown by a newspaper on subscription https://jv.dk/?fbclid=IwAR1xqrx_jzCTjek8qAebRO2N8lq0y08ucVr_C0DBKyUZkWSoCzMWihmdNv4

The places for this year's individual DM final in speedway will be decided in an exciting and close match when the semi-final is run on Thursday 13 May in Esbjerg. It will also be a different semi-final, where corona has tensed legs in the planning.
The riders from the top-5 at last year's DM final are seeded in this year's DM final as usual. In addition, the A-drivers have already been seeded for the final in June, as the Extra League's corona restrictions have meant that all A-drivers have had the risk of having to stay in Poland on 13 May to be corona-tested. So you have seeded the A-riders to be sure that they can participate and thus also for it to be an exciting DM for the other elite riders.

This means that only one semi-final will be run this year, where there will be a battle for six places in the DM final and two reserve places. When it kicks off on Thursday 13 May, you can look forward to a showdown between the talented Danish drivers who are hungry to compete against well-known names such as Anders Thomsen, Leon Madsen and Niels Kristian Iversen for the title of Danish Champion.

Both drivers, clubs and NERI had hoped that the semifinals could become a festive occasion, where the audience could come and cheer on their favorites. Unfortunately, it has not been possible with the latest reopening plan from the Government, where the prospect right now is that sporting events can only welcome the public again from 21 May.

Between the 4 highest scorers from the final day, final heat 21 is run.
