Believe you can now pay on the gate as long as you leave test and trace detals. From Scunthorpe Speedway Facebook page.

Bloody hell, that's good!  Every other track is having to jump through huge hoops, just to get a limited number of ticketed spectators in.......?

If you can go into a Pub and leave your Details, don’t see why an outside venue should be any different, apart from making sure the crowd limit is adhered too.Different Councils seem to take different views. There is a chance that you might turn up and dont get in if it’s full.If that’s the case.

Giving the restrictions on crowd numbers I `d be amazed if that is true.

The website doesn’t say that.

Taken from the website

ADMISSION

Admission to the stadium for members of the public is through the turnstiles. There are marked lines outside the stadium – please also make sure you are socially distanced as you queue to get into the stadium. Please try to avoid turning up at the last moment.

For those who have ordered their tickets online (which we recommend), please bring your ticket with you – either a physical copy or on your phone. The QR code (the matrix barcode) will be scanned to allow you entry to the stadium – please present to the staff at the entry point at the Eddie Wright Raceway and please also collect your programme.

Please note that cash admission is also available – we will have one of the turnstile booths open for cash transactions. But those opting for cash payment will have to write down their address and details when they pay, so the quicker and preferred option is online payment.

With having an almost 360 degree viewing area for the fans(barring the pits) & having meetings last year, our council have given us a maximum attendance of 1000 so it gives us a bit of freedom for those that choose, at the last minute, to decide to attend.

Why does it say originally on the website it was put back to Sunday 3pm, yet the subsequent match preview say it starts 7.30pm? Wanting to spread the arrival time of everyone? Can someone in authority at Scunthorpe clarify please.
