BERWICK v SCUNTHORPE (May 29th - 7pm) Championship

Recommended Posts

With the Scorpions having clinically despatched Plymouth on Sunday and Bandits losing at home last Saturday, this meeting is offering a new slant to expectations.

Scunthorpe have three former Berwick riders in their line-up and one of the league's more-solid reserve pairings to challenge the so-far-successful local teenagers Leon Flint and Kyle Bickley.

Team and ticketing announcements to follow.

This will be tough one again. Lots guys in the Scorpions team who go well at Berwick including the three ex Bandits. Problem for Berwick is how long will Garcia be missing. News from South America as reported on this forum not good on travel and how long do they get facility for?  Rider Replacement not really all that good and more so away. Problem is where are the riders? Dont seem any in UK. Tough match and more so with Leicester and Redcar coming. If Gappmaier gets back to how he was at end last season and Etheridge fit they should be fine.

Scunny were worthy winners over Plymouth but in fairness they were very poor and only a two man team. Torn on the result for this meeting all things been equal can only see a home win by 10 points but would be equally happy with a 2 point away win.

I understand the team will be the same as last Saturday, other than a change at #8, with Greg Blair in for Danny Phillips.

Why given that the Bandits don’t publish on social media,do they not reveal the Team Line ups for Saturdays match when they Post that E-Tickets are now available on their Website. Some fans might like to know who the are going to watch before committing to buying tickets.
