BIRMINGHAM v REDCAR WEDS JUNE 2ND

Recommended Posts

Sorry Homer , lets be honest here,  what a joke British Speedway is.

Nothing has changed after the pandemic, still ruined by delays.

BEFORE anyone comes on here saying that the safety of riders is parmaount , lets just remind ourseleves why this meeting was delayed in the first place.  Birmingham Greyhounds apparently had a surprise dog meeting that the speedway didnt know about ?

Pretty disastrous night all round.

The 65 minute delay for the track can’t really be excused, if they had access from 2pm then surely 5 1/2 hours was enough time to get into shape to start somewhere near on time.

Hope that Stewart isn’t too badly hurt after his nasty sounding crash. He’s had a really torrid start to the year.

Result not standing is hard to take too, no idea when they can fit another meeting in and seems very unfair on the Bears.

Utter farce.

Left after the heat 10 crash. Need to get up in the morning, besides I could barely see anything for dust.

And so they staged a crash after heat 10 had started - grow up and be sensible

Although heat 10 wasn't completed the result should stand because of the Birmingham managements incompetent track prep.

The meeting should never have started an hour late with a 10pm curfew in place. One bad accident and the meeting won't finish as was proved. Either start on time or 8pm at the latest or call it off.

All the away fans should get a refund!

British speedway is a joke. I don't think it's worth the effort and money to attend anymore. I give up!
