The track is well prepared and has no holes or dust so far.

Just coming on to say the same. Track is alot better than it was 2 years ago.

And on a day like today to have no dust at heat 9 well... the Poole track staff should be praised

Not particularly.  No commentary (which was promised) and no graphics so we have no idea who's racing!!  You can't hear a word Nigel is saying either.  Just the basic racing at the moment.  Not even showing the score board.

Not a patch on the feed from Glasgow last Friday unfortunately.

EDIT: Commentary all of a sudden kicked in at the end of heat 4!

Glasgow stream was excellent with interviews with riders, well done Poole r/r useless when another rider doesn't pull their weight.

Good performances from both ,but really what about the rest .Still home wins will do with the Team built to a budget will be the stock answer.

Well some of us wrote the heat scores down, so I knew what was going on! At least Poole are streaming, not every club is so just be thankful for that! First try at it so can only get better.

I enjoyed watching them, had no clue before the meeting how they would get on!

Edit - However with Ben Cook also matching them it ensured Berwick didn't really get anything out of the meeting!

Just got in from a very good and entertaining meeting. Arrived in our group to find we had been allocated 6 seats in virtually our usual spot. Names we on seats. All very easy. Crowd steadily came in and all allowed seats in the stand were full. Of course the attendance was well down on usual numbers.

Before the meeting Mark Weber was interviewed. Big fan of the sport and there to support the Aussies.

Track was in tip top condition. Smooth, well watered and plenty of dirt. Lots of passing and last bend swoops. No interval, as no outlets open.

What a debut for young Ben Cook. 13 points on his first ever meeting at Wimborne Road, which really should have been 15 but for Stefan Neilsens fall when we’ll clear in heat 14.

Also a mention for Berwicks two reserves who stopped the meeting becoming a rout. They battled for every point with some determined team riding to keep Cook out on 2 occasions.

For Poole.

Hans was excellent.
Zane struggled badly. Aggressive in his first but slow, then tailed off. Destined for reserve and needs more track time to work out the racing lines.

Steve was excellent with some good passing moves.

Stefan would have only dropped a point but overlooked and came down in heat 14 when we’ll clear. A 5-1 turned into a 1-5 in the rerun.

Danny was solid. One impressive last bend swoop.

Ben was rider of the night. Like a mini Steve Schofield. Not the best gater but hard into the first bend. Looks like a find and could be a future heat leader. Time will tell.

Danyon tried every race but failed to score. Not through lack of effort>

For Berwick.
NBJ really disappointed. Expected much more than 6 from 5.

Same goes for Etheridge. Been scoring well but awol tonight.

Huge disappointment was Danny. Next to useless.

Summers disappointed. Seem to be using that word a lot for Bandits heat leaders.

Kyle Buckley take a bow. Mixing it, battling. Good for him.

Leon Flint was top dog. Paid 13 from number 7 is a quite remarkable effort and these two reserved saved Berwick from a thumping. And they are young Brits as well.

So Poole get 3 points and start to get used to the track. Think we. Ishtar see some thrilling racing at Wimborne Road this year one the teams gets proper dialled in.

So Steve now you have been to a couple of Championship meetings, what is the verdict vs Premiership?

I always prefer top flight speedway but currently there is very little difference between the leagues. Also a 6 team league is crap.

Think most fans would agree with little difference in league standards it should have been juggled a bit and had 1 league.

Lack of riders might have been the issue.

It very telling about the Berwick team when our reserves are top scoring, excellent performance from them both. Take away their three race wins and our top four only managed two beteen them.

I was Impressed with Leon Flint and Kyle Bickley last night. Both were fast out of the gate and also they were competitive in all their rides.

The problem for Berwick as has been mentioned is the top end and second strings.

You started off brightly and kept the score line close however towards the middle part of the meeting and heat 15 you had no one answer.
